Day 3 of week 3 and its crunch time. We are in full production mode to build out our deliverables. Our aim is to have the final drafts ready by the end of the week. I am doing the Alumni Strategy, Paul has the Technology Roadmap and Tina is the Alumni Storyboard. Its a very collective effort, we all sit in the same work room and constantly ask for peer input and review to ensure we are aligned and improve the deliverable.
Monday was interesting as we met with Federico, Chairman of the Board, who is also the CEO of Bain & Co. His office was on the top floor of the highest building in the CBD so I guess Bain & Co are doing quite well. To get one hour of a CEOs time in a top tier company is amazing so we were very pleased. We discussed the growth strategy for Ensena, the political landscape specific to Education and where the funding comes from, and his view on the value Alumni can bring to the movement. This is valuable input to help shape our final strategy.
The Paparazzi arrive
SAP is making a video of the social sabbatical. The video crew arrived at Ensena yesterday and after an hour of set-up (no hair and make-up unfortunately) they interviewed, Oscar (CEO), Paul, Tina and me (Sabbatical team) and Jaimet (Ensena Alumni Co-ordinator). They took an hour of footage and the end result will be 2-5 minutes! Wow, who would want to be a celebrity.
Hurrah, the sun came out
Apart from our weekend in Iguazu it has rained nearly every day since we have been here. Full sunshine today which was a welcome relief, I dont mind colder weather but I dont like grey sky.
